Possible healthcare changes in 3 states with new GOP governors

Governing magazine looks at what will happen in three states — Missouri, New Hampshire and Vermont — that will soon have Republican governors after their current Democratic chief executives leave in January.

Among the possible changes, rolling back Obama era healthcare programs for low-income people and, in Missouri, further restricting abortion. Medicaid programs in all three states may undergo major changes.

Missouri, of course, is considerably more politically conservative than Vermont and New Hampshire, and New Hampshire is more conservative than Vermont.
