An infographic by SullivanCotter highlight some the important trends in compensation of “advanced practice clinicians” — nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
As Becker’s Hospital Review notes: “As more healthcare organizations seek APCs, the supply has not been able to keep up with the demand. The vacancy rate of APCs at healthcare organizations jumped 1.6 percent between 2014 and 2015, to 9.3 percent, according to SullivanCotter’s ‘2015 Advanced Practice Clinician Compensation and Pay Practices Survey.’ As such, organizations are starting to offer APCs more competitive compensation packages.”
