Insurers scramble to cut costs and raise premiums

Health insurers,  finding it harder than they expected to make money from the millions of new customers enrolled under Affordable Care Act exchanges, are boosting premiums, cutting costs and trying to improve customer relations with more connected and “empathetic” customer-relations staffers.
