Video: Public-health expert Brian Castrucci, chief program and stategy officer for the de Beaumont Foundation, discusses why hospitals need to reach out more to  state and local public-health departments if they want to improve population health.

Of course, we might add, they will have to improve population heath because that’s where the reimbursement system is going.
